 Stone Environmental Engineering & Science (STONE) is a woman-owned Ohio-based consulting firm offering a full range of environmental, ecological, engineering, and surveying services. Our diverse team of engineers, ecologists, botanists, geologists, surveyors, and scientists are passionate about helping to improve the environment around us, both natural and manmade. One of our key advantages is our in-house variety of professionals, who possess the following certifications: Professional Engineer (PE); Professional Surveyor (PS); Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC); Certified Erosion, Sediment, and Stormwater Inspector (CESSWI); Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS), Geographic Information System (GIS) Certificate; and Asbestos Hazard Evaluation Specialist (AHES).  STONE personnel also hold Federal and State permits for mussel surveys and possess expertise with threatened and endangered species. STONE is certified in Ohio and West Virginia as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE), and as an Ohio Encouraging Diversity, Growth and Equity (EDGE) business.
